Today is Flag Day!

In honor of Flag Day, the Boy Scouts properly retired 100 United States flags in a 2 hour ceremony last night here in Mesa, AZ. After the flags had been properly disposed of, the grommets from each of the flags that are left over in the fire pits are given to each of the boys in remembrance.

Inspirational and reverent, my son Derrek, 11, and 25 fellow Boy Scouts from Troop 451 did an outstanding service last night! Great job boys!
